Amidst all the smoke and gunfire, the squad scrambling to take down the enemy had to rely on and cover each other. Sometimes they wouldn't even know each other or wouldn't even say a word to the other, yet, when they come together they are brothers in arms. This may seem like an excerpt from a war novel or war film script, but I was talking about none other than the Call of Duty mobile game. This also applies for other similar games but this one I've played and had some fun in. In a world where vocal communication is key to coordination and usually happens between known parties, There is automatic coordination even when the microphone is switched off. People from different languages and regions come together and be a team for some time and scoot off possibly to never meet again, yet, they learn how to coordinate, support and heave along the squad they are in with the mics off. It takes some getting used to, figuring out the knick-knacks and getting shot down time and again,...

The perpetual dilemma of whether to be right or wrong, whether to take a stand or not, to be ethical or not and ultimately stick to one's consciousness even when faced with death is something we don't think over every day. Having never been pushed so far we sometimes don't acknowledge or understand simple choices people undertake for their lives.  Terrence Mallick's film, ' A Hidden Life ' gives us a glimpse of what it's like to be when put into a position where you have to participate in the stark evil that prevails or lose your face and life. Most of us having never lived that way or pushed into ideals will face difficulty facing the questions presented in the movie. We are like the church mural painter in the film who observes how he only paints the comfortable Christ people want to see as he himself hasn't had any experience of the suffering because of the stance that Christ took, meaning to say, he lacked the courage to even picture Christ's suf...
